LAKUM-KTL, a.s

LAKUM Group is a common name shared by a group of enterprises LAKUM. Historically first company of the group - LAKUM-KTL, a.s. - was established in the year 1998, with an objective to provide surface conditioning (cataphortic painting) with a high quality standard, primarily for the automotive industry. In 2000, as a consequence of purchasing additional real property premises of the company that was in the past involved in the metal fabrication, was the LAKUM-KTL, a.s. expanded into the field of metal fabrication. The LAKUM-KTL, a.s. in this way linked with a long-standing tradition of sheet metal processing (classical pressing, CNC machining), tied up with a subsequent surface conditioning process (cataphoretic painting, zinc galvanizing and powder painting) in the region of Frydlant n. Ostravici.
In the year of 2004, the division of stamping the metallic parts was separated into a second group firm - LAKUM-AP, a.s.

Currently, LAKUM Group is involved in two kinds of surface modifications - cataphoretic painting and galvanic zinc coating - and it possesses equipment for the CNC sheet metal processing as well as stamping of the metal parts. We cooperate our costumers demands for powder painting surface treatment.

Together with possibilities of mechanical assemblies by riveting, welding, using bolt connection as well as sophisticated system of packaging, the company is capable of offering a comprehensive manufacturing, supplies of semi-finished products and sets that are characterized by minimum logistics costs and clear transparent guarantee of quality to its clients.

LAKUM Group has to its disposal an extensive elbowroom equipped for metal processing, for surface conditioning/treatments as well as for assemblies.

In the year 2003, LAKUM-KTL, a.s. gained the following certificates of the Quality Management as per CSN EN ISO 9001: 2001 with validity up to the year 2009, certified by the company TÜV CZ

In 2006, the LAKUM-AP, a.s. obtained a certificate ISO/TS16949:2002 valid until the year 2009.

The year 2006 was outstanding in securing the construction of a new warehousing and fabrication hall with cca 3000 m2 floor area. In addition, a close cooperation was negotiated with Spanish company BATZ, also active in production for the automotive industry.

During its existence, the LAKUM Group succeeded in gaining a wide spectrum of business partners, primarily from the automotive industry field.
