FVC CNC is the portal machining centre with the fixed cross beam and with the longitudinal and vertical movement of the ram with the spindle. The workpiece is clamped on the adjustable work table.
It is a modern machine tool with the high cutting parameters for the milling, drilling, boring as well as thread cutting. It is designed mainly for the productive machining of the moulds, die blocks or pressing tools as well as other in shape complicated components.
The components can be machined from 5 sides during one gripping in case of the utilization of the cutter heads. Five-axis working can be used for the extremely complicated components with the generally shaped surfaces.
The FVC CNC portal machining center offers a wide range of the versions from the standpoint of the coordinate size and the sizes of the main cutting parameters. It also provides the possibilities to select an optimum variant corresponding to the technological needs of the user. The high rigidity of the frame is another advantage of the machine. The frame is made form the cast-iron castings. This design secures the long-term accuracy of the machine and it also enables to carry out the difficult rough passes.
The machining centre FVC CNC is controlled in three basic coordinates – X (clamping table longitudinal movement), Y (longitudinal movement of the slide with the ram) and Z (vertical movement of the ram with the spindle). The ram can be equipped by the electric spindle or by the cutter head that will extend substantially the technological possibilities of the machine.
